Eko Agus Prawoto

Eko Agus Prawoto is an Indonesian architect who is well-known for using natural materials, such as wood, bamboo, natural stone, and recycled elements in the form of used bricks, used ceramic shards, and used window frames and shutters.

In his work, Eko always emphasizes Nusantara locality which is in favor of humanity and green housing. Nusantara locality is the use of local or regional building materials and harmonizes with Indonesian nature. For him, the world of architecture must be contextual.
